Skaarup Shipping Corporation, through its subsidiary ship owning companies, ensures that its ships exceed industry maintenance standards, and that its ships are dry docked at regular intervals in order to carry out preventative maintenance as well as to comply with Lloyd’s classification requirements.

Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.”  - Pat Riley

Furthermore, the ongoing high level of preventative maintenance aboard has proven results with offhire that exceeds industry standards, often zero days per year, plus added value with hard to believe ship longevity.

The first Skaarup self-unloader was 53 years old when scrapped having traded in the oceans all those years.

This quality is the result of shore and ship staff philosophies well established over the years!
