Skaarup Adds Up Tonnage

On October 31, 2005, Skaarup, jointly with Chinese partners, bought MV Sunsea. The ship is a 1994 built 69,149 DWT bulk carrier. She was taken over in Lianyungang, China and instantly delivered for service. Mr. Frank Parker, CEO of the Skaarup Group, attended the delivery ceremony in China and expressed his satisfaction over the ship’s conditions. During his trip, he also visited China Shipping, Time Shipping and others in Qingdao, Dalian, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. He felt encouraged by the keen interest of these Chinese companies to work with Skaarup and well impressed by the dramatic changes in China.
