Skaarup Takes Up MV De Shan for 2 Years
December 31, 2004
For the first time, Skaarup Shipping Corporation has signed an agreement with COSCO Hunan for a two-year engagement of the MV De Shan, a 39,800 dwt bulk carrier that was built in 1984. Impressed by the reputation of the Skaarup organization, COSCO Hunan is seeking cooperation with Skaarup in the international market. MV De Shan is currently performing well on a voyage carrying steel from Casablanca to China. Her two year employment will benefit both COSCO and Skaarup, as the operational model of this agreement is part of The Skaarup Group’s strategic business plan for China.
