Senior Chinese Delegation Visits Skaarup

On December 11, 2003, Chinese Maritime Delegation visited Skaarup Shipping Corporation in Greenwich, Connecticut. As part of Chinese governmental delegation led by Prime Minister, Jiabao Wen, visiting Washington this month, this delegation consists of senior executives of the top-tier Chinese international companies interested in developing shipping business in the States.

Mr. Parker, CEO of Skaarup, and Mr. Bene, President of Skaarup, met with all the members of the delegation and held constructive and productive talks with them over developing shipping and self-unloading business. Skaarup hosted a welcome party in Marriot Hotel in Stamford. Also joining the party are Mr. Frost, President of Connecticut Maritime Association, and Mr. Edelberg, Chairman of the International Trade Council of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce.
